We pride ourselves on honest seasonal vegetables packed with nutrients. Avoiding nasty sprays, we grow our own seasonal organic fruit, vegetables, salads and herbs and pick fresh daily 30km from our restaurant in the heart of Dublin City Centre. The farm-house gardens are an integral part of Toscana’s philosophy towards cooking at our popular Dublin restaurant, and we believe that our customers should eat as well as we do at home. Each dish plays homage to the beauty and simplicity of home-grown produce that we grow at our family farm. We believe the best tasting food is possible with seasonal, organic, sustainably harvested ingredients, cooked simply with our homely Mediterranean recipes. Prati Italia will continue that same tradition of offering a welcoming, sociable space that people will be happy to call their own.Enjoy an earthy and intimate dining experience with a warm friendly atmosphere in the heart of Dublin City, where our food is all about the ingredients we grow at our Family Farm-house.

“Jacksonville is full of great neighborhoods, each with their own charm,” said Gray, “and we’ve worked hard to make Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails at the Town Center and Town Hall in San Marco feel like vital parts of their respective communities. In the meantime, Gray and his team excitedly anticipate serving the community in the New Year.

“The whole team is really excited about the upcoming holiday season and we are looking forward to sharing our “moxie” with everyone!” “While we will soon have new dishes to debut, now is the time to come and enjoy all of your Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails favorites,’ Gray added. If you’re looking for some holiday bites between now and the grand opening, Moxie will remain open through New Year’s Eve. Prati Italia plans to serve lunch Monday through Sunday, Sunday brunch, and Monday dinner, with further plans to add catering to expand operations outside of the satellite restaurant. This renovation also includes improved sound proofing in the private dining area on the first floor of the restaurant, where private dining and special events will remain a staple offering. The space will not only capture a taste of genuine Italian cuisine, but also exhibit traditional charm and interior & exterior decor exhibited within the culture to add an authentic touch. “I’m a glass half-full kind of guy,” says Gray, “and when it came down to it, I realized this was an exciting opportunity to introduce something new to Jacksonville and the Town Center.” This sparked inspiration for Gray to embark on his years-old vision to open his own Italian outlet. The change comes on the heels of news that a Canadian restaurant chain called “Moxie” would soon expand operations into the Florida market. “When I first enjoyed Roman-style pizza, which is generally baked in square pans and sold in square slices, I was hooked! I’m excited to bring it to my hometown when we open Prati Italia.” An Italian concept, the eatery will serve a savory menu of essential Italian dishes, including a variety of handmade pastas, artisan cocktails, and Roman pizzas, the latter of which Gray swears by. Jacksonville is about to get its own slice of Little Italy: Prati Italia is slated to open in the Markets at Town Center on the Southside (in the space now occupied by Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails) by mid-January.
